The answer is yes.

Many people assume travel advisors are paid by clients directly.
In many cases, advisors earn compensation through supplier partnerships when clients book hotels, resorts, cruises, tours, and vacation packages.
The exact structure varies by supplier and booking type, but the travel industry has operated this way for many years.
Understanding how those relationships work is an important part of becoming a professional advisor.

They enjoy travel.
They enjoy helping people.
